Hi! I’m Rachel. My ceramic work incorporates local and recycled materials, is hand carved, and fired in atmospheric kilns. The work showcases repetitive patterns such as flower petals, insect textures, breeze block shapes, woodgrains, and plant symmetry. A platter evokes an opened nutshell. A poppy seed pod inspires a jar form.
